Safety Protocols
The Center for Glaucoma & Cataract Care is open and seeing patients. However, it is important to know that we are taking additional measures to ensure that our office is a safe place to provide and receive care. As part of our safety protocols we are following the guidelines and recommendations of national medical organizations and will:
Pre-screen all patients over the phone prior to confirming appointments to determine whether they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms (fever, shortness of breath, cough, sore throat, or other acute respiratory symptoms) or have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19.
Require the use of masks per hospital policy for all individuals in the clinic.
Limit the number of people in the office by restricting one individual to accompany a patient if he/she requires assistance.
Ask patients and personnel to use hand sanitizer when entering the office.
Sanitize exam rooms and equipment between patients. Our provider will also take appropriate measures to ensure patient safety including strict hand hygiene.
